摘要

In this paper a novel type of coagulant is studied. The coagulation process performance with using this type of coagulant is evaluated. This new type is the composition of zinc oxide nano particle and poly ferric sulfate (ZnOPFS). The structure of zinc oxide nano particles was characterized by FTIR, XRD and TEM, suggesting that ZnOPFS is a complex compound with mainly zinc oxide nano particles and ferric sulfate. The effects of Zn/ Fe molar ratios (n) and aging time on the pH and zeta potential were also evaluated systematically.
