The authors are grateful for the interesting perspectives given by Zhu and colleagues in their letter to the editor entitled "Can cross-handed approach improve maneuver in transumbilical laparoscopic surgery?"We appreciate their comments, and we are happy to provide a response. Single-port laparoscopy is becoming widespread and popular and has evolved rapidly over the past decade. The major issue in single-port laparoscopy is to overcome the problem of triangulation.In bis letter to the editor, Zhu mentioned two articles by Botden et al. and Rimonda et al. with, according to Zhu, contradictory results.
