With the theme "Old Currents/ New Blends: A Distillation of Art and Geography," the National Council on Education in the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) will hold its 41st Annual Conference March 14-17 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Ky. Thousands of ceramic artists and pottery professionals are expected to gather to network and discover all they can about the aesthetics, techniques and business of pottery. The conference opens Wednesday, March 14, with manufacturer/supplier and nonprofit exhibits. This year's event will feature 84 manufacturer/suppliers and 77 non-profits displaying their products and services. Exhibits will be open 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, and Friday, March 16.
