Not all used equipment is selling sky-high. Check out round baler prices. Can it be possible that used farm equipment values are falling? Seems all I've been writing and blogging about the last four to seven years has been the rising value of all types of used farm equipment. A lonely exception - the current used round baler market - is emerging. Values for round balers started off 2010 squarely on the soft side, and then they fell further throughout the year. Falling used round baler values are certainly understandable given the challenging times in the dairy and cattle businesses of late. Values started slipping a little during the summer of 2010 and progressed downward into last fall.
