摘要

The effect of abrasive wear on the interface shearsliding resistance in SiC fiber-reinforced Al_2O_3 matrixcomposite has been studied using a pushout test. The protrudedfiber surface shows the memory of interfacial abrasion and theabrasion progresses with the increase of relative interfacialsliding distance. Pushout load-fiber and displacement curve isquantitatively analyzed using abrasion model. The analyticalresults explains the effect of abrasion on the pushout load-fiberend displacement curve of the composite.
