With the aim of extending the working concentration range for tin in graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GFAAS), the analytical performance of several non-resonance lines of this element were studied, using atomization from the tube walland from the platform. The use of these non-resonance lines enables the working range to be extended to amounts of tin up to 140 times greater than the upper linear limit for the most sensitive line without degrading the precision (measured as the relative standard deviation) of the measurement.
