Defining golf's footprint can take on many different forms. Airline passengers flying over cities often notice that the few remaining green spaces among the span of houses, shppping centres and parking lots are golf courses. To the environmental engineer,footprint might be measured in terms of the millions of plants that help reduce greenhouse gasses. To golfers, golf's footprint comprises of the turfgrass, trees, plant materials and i water features that make up the golf I course on which the game isplayed.
