A method for the determination of the kinetic parameters relevant to atom formation processes in electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry

A method for the determination of the order of release and the activation energy for the atom formation process from one single absorbance signal under non-isothermal conditions in electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry is presented. A comparision is made with other methods using the same experimental data sets for Cu, Ni, and Au. The deviations from linearity of the Arrhenius plots are discussed.
