Response to comments from Dr. Miguel Bruno and Dr. Celia Lessa Kerstenetzky on the paper 'Using G2 to measure income inequality in two Latin American upper middle income countries'

In this paper, I respond to the important and insightful comments made by Dr. Bruno and Dr. Kerstenetzky on the paper, Using G2 to measure income inequality in two Latin American upper middle income countries (hereinafter, the "Using G2 paper.") Since many comments by these two experts overlap, this paper first responds to these common comments, and then discusses additional comments made by the authors. An attempt was made to obtain comments on the Using G2 paper from experts in Mexico, but as of the writing of this response, these comments have not yet been received.
