Incoherent scattering of ~2141[Am] gamma photons

The total incoherent scatterin differential cross-sections of Ti, Cr, Ni, Cu, Zn, Pd, Cd and Ba have been experimentally investigated for 59,54 keV gamma photons in the angular range 30-140 deg using an improved method. The backgroud correction and detection efficiency are also included in the study. The measured cross-sections have been compared with those estimate on the basis of the non-relativistic Hartree-Fock wave functions.
