In the present investigation, sago starch was modified through microwave assisted chemical synthesis using acrylamide as grafting monomer. Grafted copolymer was characterized by fourier transform infra red spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray powder diffractometer (XRD) and thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA).
