摘要

In this study, a novel cationic cyclodextrin polymer was prepared by the polymerization reaction between allyl--cyclodextrin (A--CD) and acrylamide (AM), acrylic acid (AA), and diallyl benzyl propyl ammonium chloride (DABPAC) (A--CD/AM/AA/DABPAC). The cationic -cyclodextrin polymer was structurally characterized using FTIR and H-1 NMR. On bases of XRD and SEM analyses, the possibility of interaction between polymer and clay surfaces was suggested. The layer formed around the clay surfaces apparently performed as a double protective layer preventing clay swelling and its molecular migration
