NEW COMPANY LAUNCHED TO SERVE THE MONOLITHICS MARKET

On July 1, 2001, a new company was launched to serve the needs of the monolithic refractory market. Called Stevenson Specialty Refractories, Inc. (SSR), the company is temporarily headquartered in Collegeville, Pa., and is dedicated to providing "exceptional service and unparalleled technological product development" in its field.CI recently sat down with Robert Stevenson, the president of the new company and a long-time industry veteran, to discuss some of the recent shakeups in this industry and how those changes have paved the way for this new business venture.
