Formulating the 'ultimate moisture barrier solution system' was the challenge from Vodacom to Sika for the concrete flooring of a new Control Centre computer room at Vodacom's Nelspruit premises. Innovations such as Sika's patented Sikafloor EpoCem range, which acts as a temporary moisture barrier under epoxy, polyurethane and PMMA resin floors over high moisture content substrates (including 'green' newly-laid concrete) accelerates flooring installations.
