The year-long process has brought new European quality standards and product refinement to the manufacture of concrete flooring panels in South Africa, according to Echo group marketing director Melinda Louw. The exercise at Echo's Chloorklop plant in Gauteng was completed a year after the integration of the former Fastfloor concrete flooring panel company into Echo Prestress, and involved special training and familiarisation sessions by technical Echo staff in Belgium, where the Echo concrete flooring panel system has its origins.
