Waterproofing system awarded Agrement certification

Concrete Manufacturers Association (CMA) member company, Technical Finishes, has gained an Agrement certificate for a dual-stage waterproofing system for exterior walling. It comprises a thin skin plaster, Skimplaster, and Glutone, an environmentally-friendly paint made entirely from natural products. Specifically designed for conditions found in the most damp-prone area in the country, the Southern Cape Condensation Area (SCCA), the two products have been evaluated and individually passed according to sub rule KK17 Part K, Walls of SABS 0400:1900 code of Practice for the Application of the National Building Regulations, Mike Grose, MD of Technical Finishes and developer of the Techfin System, says the system has already been applied to thousands of houses on the Cape Flats with great success.
