'People-friendly' roof insulation derived from PET bottles

Polymer from recycled PET bottles are used as raw materials by Brits Nonwoven for the production of its "green" thermal roof insulation, Isotherm. The bottles are collected by thousands of destitute and unemployed South Africans and taken to recycling depots around the country. Isotherm - and its derivative products, Isofoil Composite Thermal Insulation and Acoustisorb Sound Insulation - are all 100 percent polyester and also completely recyclable.
