摘要

The restraint on availability of electrical power supply is one of the factors that is obstructing the rollout of building projects. Speaking at the recent Building Industry Crisis Summit, which was hosted by Master Builders South Africa (MBSA) in Johannesburg in February, Andrew Etzinger, general manager for resources and strategy at Eskom, offered delegates a clear picture of the current status on electricity supply versus demand. He also outlined Eskom's plans to increase its power generation capacity as well as the incentives it already has in place to encourage all users of electricity to reduce their current levels of consumption.
