Short-term insurance provider Santam has partnered with Eskom to encourage households to switch from conventional electrical geysers to energy-efficient solar water heaters. Santam, which is the first insurance company to partner with Eskom in the Solar Water Heating Rebate Programme, is also the first South African insurer to offer its residential clients the opportunity to claim environmentally friendly, sun-powered solar water heaters to replace burst electrical geysers. At claim stage, Santam is committed to facilitating the process on behalf of its clients.
