摘要

Using the structural fracture criterion, the ultimate load is evaluated for both a plate with side notches of hyperbolic geometry and for a body of revolution with a circumferential groove of the same geometry under conditions of uniaxial tension. The conditions of matching between the structural strength criterion and the classical strength criteria are analyzed. A comparison is given with the experimental data and also with the results obtained by the Leonov-Rusinko microstress theory.
