摘要

Pulsed hardening of the bimetallic materials considered in a magnetic field is accompanied by the formation of a surface zone consisting of a white layer and a hardened layer of the faced metal, adjacent to the line of fusion with the basic metal. In this zone, with austenite-martensite structure and needle-type ferrite, the size of the grains, the structural blocks, and the carbide phase is reduced, with corresponding increase in hardness, microhardness, strength, and plasticity.
