Production of Ultrahard (80–100)-mm Grinding Balls

摘要

To meet the demand for wear-resistant grinding balls at OAO Novokuznetskii Metallurgicheskii Kombinat (NKMK), the TT 14788411-93–2009 standard has been developed, and the production of ultra- hard (80–100)-mm balls has been introduced. Surface and internal hardness is ensured by using steel of ele-vated hardenability and by special heat treatment.
