FORMALIZING THE PERSONAL INFORMATION SYSTEM OF THE OPERATOR OF A CONTINUOUS BILLET-CASTING MACHINE

On the basis of a fuzzy logic, a general approach to the construction of the human operator's personal information model in controlling a complex repetitive technological process is proposed. This approach permits the construction of a formalized assistant (backup) for the operator capable of substituting for the human operator in regular situations and gradually converting irregular situations to regular situations. In the early stages of decision making, information collection is by the formation of fuzzy sets. Then, on the basis of the fuzzy sets, tables of control functions are compiled in terms of direct representation of these sets.
