摘要

When components and coatings based on NiAl and its alloys operate in air at high temperatures, metal oxides are formed on the surface. This impairs the performance of the components and determines their thermal stability. On the other hand, internal saturation of metals and alloys in oxygen- and nitrogen-bearing media may improve alloy performance if the composition of the atmosphere and the saturation parameters are correctly chosen.
