RESULTS OF INDUSTRIAL TESTS OF REPLACING FUEL OIL BY WATER-COAL FUEL IN THE IGNITION FURNACE OF A SINTERING MACHINE

The possibility in principle of using water-coal fuel in the sintering machine furnace for igniting the mix without lessening the quality of the sinter and machine output was shown as a result of industrial tests. Replacement of fuel oil by such fuel has a substantial economic effect. On the basis of the test results, a decision was made about the industrial introduction of WCF for igniting the mix in ignition furnaces on two machines at the Abagur sinter plant.
