Dieffenbacher Isostar HIP Line for Redensifying Medical Technology Components

Safety and reliability are crucial to HIP-lines used to redensify medical technology components for several reasons. During the HIP process, the already extensively processed components undergo further refinement. The HIP-cycle takes around 17 hours and the HIP line is designed to process the entire production output of one day. Considering the substantial value of the ware processed and large number of components contained in the HIP-line at one time, termination of the process caused by a technical fault would lead to serious financial damage. To guard against this, Dieffenbacher has evolved a press concept to ensure the greatest possible availability of its HIP-line based on the high-quality workmanship of all plant components and back-up functions in all process-controlling measurement systems.
