One of the looming questions at the start of this season is how growers will fare in the face of zebra chip disease, an emerging and developing threat to the industry in recent years. Over the past few years, the disease has severely damaged fields across th^ western United States, and if left unchecked, could result in serious damage to the chipping industry. U.S. growers aren't the only ones at risk with the disease. It is already ravaging fields across North America and Central America and has been found as far away as New Zealand.
