Too hot, too cold, just right

There's always a surfeit of blame for Mother Nature's impact on seed potato conditions. You could blame her for the early heat wave (in Idaho, Montana and Washington), the cooler weather (in Colorado), a cold and wet spring (in Maine and Minnesota), but then there are the anomalies, the states that reported near favorable conditions (Oregon and Wisconsin). So, while many may curse Mother Nature's intemperance, there are those few who speak her name reverently and with gratitude for her charitable kindness in 2015.
