Oregon opportunities: Fourth-generation grower says involvement key to success

During his four years as a United States Potato Board (USPB) member, Lon Baley of Malin, Ore., has demonstrated effective leadership. He was recently elected to USPB's executive committee by the northwest caucus and appointed to serve as a cochairmanof the USPB International Marketing Committee by Chairman Tom Qualey of Sherman, Maine, at USPB s 37th annual meeting in Denver. He also serves as chairman of the Oregon Potato Commission (OPC), and is a board member on the Klamath Potato Growers Association and the Tulelake Growers Association.
