Allegheny Technologies (ATI) reported a profi t ofUS$26 million on sales totalling US$771 million, in thelatest fi nancial quarter. This differs from the previousyear’s fi gures, where the company posted a loss ofUS$73 million in the third quarter. Total shipments fellfrom 90,100 short tons to 87,900 short tons, whencomparing these two periods.
