The MEPS Asian Average Cold Rolled Coil transaction price decreased by almost 3 percent in January. Hot rolled coil numbers reduced by a larger amount. Selling figures are now above those in the West as domestic mills persistwith higher offers, despite slowing demand. However, very few sales are being concluded. Many buyers stay away as they fear further price falls over the coming months.
