China's Baoshan Iron & Steel expects to commission an 800,000 tonne per year hot coil annealing and pickling line at its Boashan district works by the fourth quarter of 2007. Additionally, a 600,000 tonne per year cold rolling mill will be brought on stream during the first half of 2008. Acesita, the Brazilian stainless and special steel producer, has started up a fourth service centre at Campinas, Sao Paulo state. It will have an annual capacity of 40,000 tonnes.
