The road to future power needs

This month's issue of Stainless Steel World has, as part of its special topic 'Power Generation', and certainly, this theme has been very much in the news since March when a series of catastrophes happened at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant following on from the powerful earthquake and the subsequent tsunami that took place off the coast of Japan. The question whether we continue to use nuclear power for our future energy needs is currently on the agenda of politicians around the world and is given extra drive by the emotional sensitivity of the topic among the various countries' electorates.
