The ownership of AST and VDM, both previously subsidiaries of Outokumpu, has been transferred to ThyssenKrupp. The two divisions were included in the spun-off Inoxum which was purchased by the Finnish stainless steelmaker in late 2012. ThyssenKrupp is terminating all financial links with Outokumpu and fully divesting its 29.9 percent stake in the company.
