Outokumpu has completed a ?100 million upgrade to its quarto plate mill in Degerfors, Sweden. As well as increasing the quality of the stainless steel plate produced on site, this investment will boost production capacity by 35 percent to 155,000 tonnes per annum. This places the Degerfors facility as the world's largest stainless quarto plate mill.
