MTI expands its scope with leverage funded projects

The Materials Technology Institute of Chemical Process Industries Inc. is not just another technology development organisation. Representing private companies, it is far more than a forum for information exchange on problems companies may encounter in their work processes. MTI is strongly application-oriented and has the power to take a more proactive approach. Its goal is to conduct studies of a practical nature on retarding the deterioration of materials and equipment used in the processing industries. Applying itself to leverage funding over the last couple of years, MTI is now able to tackle projects that were far beyond its own funding scope up till now.
