Turn-mill centre for large workpieces

The Japanese machine tool manufacturer, Okuma, has launched a new, multitasking turning centre for complete machining of workpieces up to two metres long and 650mm in diameter. Called MULTUS U4000, it is available in the UK through sole agent, NCMT. Asmaller MULTUS U3000 can also be supplied, with up to 1,500mm between centres.
