Fast tooling change for Chinese slitter

THE slitter, supplied by Siemens Metals Technologies, incorporates a capstan type slitter head, an advanced technology for fast change of tooling. The tooling change system is compatible with the use of an automatic tool loading robot, which will ensure better reliability and flexibility of production. For scratch free operation, the slitter has a special belt unit to provide back tension.
