New launches,celebrity endorsements and anti-aging products led the prestige beauty industry to sales of 8.2 billion in 2005-a new record following a 4% increase from the previous year,reports The NPD Group.Since 2000,sales of prestige beauty products in US department stores have grown by more than 1 billion and makeup is leading the way.
