Dan Spray Ltd (a subsidiary of Danish Steel Works Ltd) is the first company in the world to start industrial production of tool steel billets using spray forming technology. Until now, spray forming technology - better known as the Osprey Process - has been used only in the production of aluminium and copper products and tubes in stainless steel.
