CHINA International Steel Congress (Cisa) will strengthen its statistical work and release of information to investors to warn them of market risks in the country's steel industry, the organisation's chairman, Wu Xichan, has pledged. Aspects which he said deserve attention include: an excessive increase in investment, especially "serious low-level steel capacity expansion"; over concentration on construction and commissioning of new capacity; a development imbalance; and lack of suitability between the new product mix and market
