Acerinox reports first quarter profit of Euro31m

Acerinox made a profit after taxes and minorities of Euro31m in the first quarter of 2015, up 23.7% compared to the first quarter of 2014. Group net sales totalled Eurol ,144m, up 11.8% compared to the first quarter of 2014, and 5.5% higher than in the fourth quarter of 2014. Melting shop production totalled 600,540 tonnes, down 2.7% compared to the same period of the previous year, but 16.5% higher than in the fourth quarter of 2014.
