AK Steel: 92.7m dollars net income in Q2

THE USA'S AK Steel recently reported net income of 92.7m dollars for the second quarter of 2004, compared to a net loss of 78.2m dollars in the second quarter of 2003. The 2004 second quarter results include an aftertax gain of 44.2m dollars on the sale of the company's Houston industrial park, completed on April 9,2004, and a tax benefit related to discontinued operations of 27.2m dollars.
