To mark the celebration of World Consumer Rights Day, 2000, a seminar on the theme of 'Quality and Standards - Consumer Awareness' was organized jointly by the Department of Consumer Affairs, Government of India and Bureau of Indian Standards on 15 March 2000 at Manak Bhavan, New Delhi.
