Key changes in IS/IEC 60079 on Electrical Apparatus for Explosive Atmospheres

Indian Standards on electrical apparatus for use in explosive atmospheres have been harmonized in line with the corresponding IEC standards of the IEC 60079 series. This article aims to highlight the major differences of the revised standards for better understanding the impact of the revision.
