IS/ISO/IEC 17021 : 2006, Conformity Assessment--Requirements for Bodies Providing Audit and Certification of Management Systems

Bureau of Indian Standards has published an Indian Standard on Conformity Assessment - Requirements for Bodies Providing Audit and Certification of Management Systems (IS/ISO/IEC17021 :2006). This Indian Standard is identical with ISO/IEC 17021 : 2006 Conformity assessment - Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems, issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) jointly. Certification of a management system, such as a quality or environmental management system of an organization, is one means of providing assurance that the organization has implemented a system for the management of the relevant aspects of its activities, in line with its policy.
