摘要

STEEL is the most widely used of all metals, accounting for 95% of worldwide metal production by weight. Development of increasingly low grade ore deposits and demand for low energy costs drive ore beneficiation, sintering or direct reduction initiatives that require new innovative and sustainable analytical techniques. Prospecting, grade control, process monitoring and quality assurance benefit from robust and flexible analysis of raw materials, intermediate and final products. The analysis of elements present using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) is used to monitor process and the quality of final products in real time.
