Moldova plant implements management planning & control

Founded in 1985, Moldova Metallurgical Plant (MMP) in the CIS ranks among the top European minimills. It uses globally-recognised technologies to manufacture continuously cast steel rolled sections and high-carbon steel grades. The plant's products meet all the major industry standards as well as those of the CIS. In 2004, production volumes exceeded 1Mt for the first time. An advantageous geographic position and well-developed transport infrastructure have encouraged the growth of its export sales. Its products are now exported to more than 70 countries around the world. Customers include some of the largest global corporations such as Stemcor, Noble and Balli-Klockner.
