Improved surface quality of large billet by strand insulation

Insulating tunnels placed immediately after the spray cooling zone in a small radius billet caster prevent corner cracking in low alloy steels which is caused by excessive cooling due to the slower casting speeds necessary to ensure internalsoundness in these grades.
