Dear Sir Dr Tfelt-Hansen reports in his review (1) that the US Headache Consortium, assessed the combination of acetaminophen plus aspirin plus caffeine as grade A in 2000 (2). Referring to the studies by Lipton he continues: 'It should be noted, however, that the most disabled segment of migraineurs, including those who usually required bed rest or who vomited 20% or more of the time, were excluded. The results can thus not be generalized to all migraine patients'.
